Alexander Kravchenko
Founder of Maxa Tech, engineering lead
I have worked in software development since 2014. My experience spans hands-on engineering, architecture and building teams. In our first conversation, we discuss your product and a practical place to start.
How I select engineers
I conduct technical interviews myself, including live coding without AI assistance. I want to see how an engineer thinks, solves problems, and explains their decisions. I believe AI should amplify an engineer’s capabilities, backed by the ability to work independently.
I also look for ownership: understanding the product, asking questions, and following work through to completion. Before an engagement starts, we agree on each engineer’s allocation and availability. To me, a strong team combines technical ability with accountability.
Clear ownership. Visible progress.
You know who is doing the work, how decisions are made, and what comes next.
- Engineering discipline
Quality built into delivery
Code review, automated checks, and QA are part of delivery. We demonstrate working changes and document decisions so your team can build on them.
- Infrastructure cost
Infrastructure that fits your workload
Our experience includes moving services from AWS Fargate to Hetzner. We assess costs, monitoring, and migration risks before recommending what to change.
- Team visibility
Know the people building your product
Agree on each engineer’s role, experience, and rate before work starts. Speak directly with the people making technical decisions.
- Team that stays
A team that grows with the product
Several engineers joined us early in their careers and grew into senior roles. Shared experience and mentoring help preserve product knowledge across the team.

Working with our engineers
A practical first step
Start with a defined scope. Decide on the next phase after you’ve seen how we work.
Discuss the product
Tell us what you need. We’ll start by email and arrange a call if useful.
Map the work
Agree on priorities and scope. If a codebase audit is useful, define its deliverables, timing and cost together.
Deliver and review
Review working changes together. Agree on updates and demos around your team’s workflow.
Before we start
Can you work with our existing team?
Yes. We can add engineers to your team or take responsibility for an agreed scope. We define roles, review practices, and communication together.
Who will work on our project?
We agree on the team, responsibilities, and availability before work begins. The size of Maxa Tech is not the number of engineers automatically assigned to your project.
How involved is Alexander?
Alexander joins the first discussion and helps define the approach. We agree on the technical lead and his ongoing involvement as part of the engagement.
What happens after the first message?
We propose a next step based on your situation: an audit, a scoped milestone, or additional engineers. A codebase review is a separate stage with agreed access and deliverables.
