AMP: marketing packages that build themselves when a listing hits the MLS

Automated Marketing Packages is the core of MAXA, a design platform for US real estate brokerages. An agent's listing appears in the MLS, and within an hour a ready set of postcards, flyers, social posts and emails is waiting in their account, on brand and approved for compliance. We designed and built the whole thing and still run it.

The problem

A brokerage with hundreds of agents gets the same marketing request every day: a new listing needs a Just Listed postcard, a flyer, a couple of social graphics and an email. Multiply by every status change: Coming Soon, Active, Pending, Price Reduced, Sold.

Marketing staff drown in repetitive work, agents wait days, and every hand-made piece is a compliance risk: wrong logo, missing disclaimer, an off-brand font.

The solution

Brokerage admins describe packages once: which templates, for which listing status, price range, office or agent group, with which partners (mortgage, title, insurance). After that the system does the work.

Listing data comes from the MLS feed, agent and partner data from profiles, and the designs are generated from templates automatically. Locked elements keep logos, fonts and disclaimers untouchable; an approval flow and audit log keep the compliance team calm.

How it works

  1. 1

    MLS sync

Background jobs pull listings, photos and status changes from MLS property sources into the platform.

  2. 2

    Rules engine

Each new or changed listing is matched against package rules: kind, status, price limits, office, user group, partners.

  3. 3

    Generation

Templates are filled with listing data, photos, agent profile and partner blocks. Hundreds of designs are produced in one pass.

  4. 4

    Approval and audit

Packages can require broker approval; every change is logged, from listing update to print and share.

  5. 5

    Edit and publish

The agent opens the design in the editor, tweaks what is allowed, and sends it to print, social, email or direct mail.

  6. 6

    Regeneration

When the listing status changes, the package is rebuilt with previews and rollback, so nothing stale goes out.

MAXA reports that AMP saves brokerages thousands of hours of staff production time and lets them produce hundreds or thousands of marketing assets at once. Named Top Marketing Center 2025 by Inman and T3 Sixty.

What we engineered

AI inside the same editor

On top of AMP we run AI features in production: an AI writer for property descriptions and emails, image generation, object removal with a self-hosted inpainting model, and upscaling. Same team, same codebase, same users.

We wrap an existing web application into a React Native shell, add push notifications and native login, and take it through store review. Weeks, not a second codebase.
